Thoughts for you

I was clearing my inbox at work this morning and this was sent to me and it brought my great calm. Read and enjoy!

May today there be peace within. May you trust that you are exctally where you are meant to be. May you not forget teh infinite possibilities that are born of faith in yourself and others. May you use th gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content with yourself just the way you are. Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your sould the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us.

My mom

You'd think that after 5 years I'd start getting used to the idea that my mom is not here with me. And that's just it, I won't ever get used to it. She was an incredible mother! She made moving almost every 2-3 years seem normal! She made life "normal" when dad was TDY. She made life go on as normal. BUT her normal was something exciting to me growing up. Normal meant getting lost to find out where we were, ice cream sundaes for dinner just because we could, and laughing because it felt good. Mom was at the center of our lives and we all revolved around her. She had an energy that was whole and good. She made me feel safe no matter what. She never judged me and always supported me. She was kind and generous to all around her. She taught me to trust myself. She taught me to stand my ground and not be afraid. She taught me that it's all going to be ok.

And she is missed...

Mothers

Yesterday was a day to celebrate mothers. I had a pretty amazing day (not including the migraine)! Troy and Annie cooked me one of my favorite breakfasts and we hung out in our PJ's until lunch! Migraine hit so Annie, Wes and I took wonderful naps while Troy and Bren rode bikes around the neighborhood. After my nap, I got a chance to see Brenden on action...simply amazing. Troy cooked my favorite dinner and then we headed out for ice cream. A special day indeed!

As I look at my children, I am amazed at the little people that they are turning into and I am thankful...

Getting older

Brenden has been having dome major growing gains!! A few weeks ago I told you that he lost his 3rd baby tooth. Well, now his 3rd adult tooth is on its way in! I can't believe that my son has anything "adult" associated with him, but alas he does.
This weekend he hit a huge milestone in his young life...he can ride his 2-wheeler all by himself. Now, I know that he's pretty old to be tackling this BUT my eldest does not do something until he can do it 100% all by himself. This was definitely one of those times, but his cautiousness won out and he can do it all by himself and is really proud.

My Annie has really come into her own! She loves being the BIG sister to Wesley and helps me everyday. Her imagination is through the roof people! I love to sit and listen to "play" with her toys because there's always something really interesting happening between the toys!
The other day she and I were cloud watching for clouds that look like dinosaurs....she always finds them! I am absolutely amazed that she is going to be 4 in a few short months!

And then there's Wes! He's been growing like a weed! He's now up to 10lbs. 14oz!!That's 4 pounds in 2 short months! At just 2 months he's rolling over from belly to back, only getting up once at night, and smiling and cooing to all of us!!! We are totally in love!!!!

Lake of the Ozarks Camping

This past weekend we went camping at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri with Tony and Shannon. We had a blast! The adventure started with a c...
